Gangguan Kesehatan Mental Terhadap Performa Akademik Mahasiswa Tingkat Awal

Penelitian ini memaparkan dampak permasalahan kesehatan mahasiswa semester awal di suatu perguruan tinggi terhadap performa akademik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan survei online yang disebarkan dengan hasil 104 responden yang merupakan pelajar laki-laki dan perempuan berusia 16-20 tahun. Tujuannya untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang prevalensi gangguan kesehatan mental di kalangan siswa dan dampaknya terhadap performa akademik. Temuan ini menyoroti nilai korelasi sebesar -0.403<0.001 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara gangguan kesehatan mental terhadap performa akademik, bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat gangguan kesehatan mental, semakin rendah perfroma akademik. Adapun beberrapa strategi seperti menerapkan kebiasaan gaya hidup sehat, manajemen waktu yang efektif, dan mencari dukungan bila diperlukan dapat membantu mengurangi risiko gangguan kesehatan mental dan menjaga prestasi akademik. Melalui mengintegrasikan strategi ini ke dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, individu dapat berupaya mengurangi stres, meningkatkan kesehatan mental, dan mempertahankan performa akademik.
