Kedisiplinan Diri Dalam Membentuk Pendidikan Karakter Remaja Perspektif Islam

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kedisiplinan diri dalam membentuk pendidikan karakter remaja dari perspektif Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naratif, dengan metode purposeful sampling dalam menentukan subjek yang melibatkan tiga siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman. Hasil Penelitian di MA Sa’id Yusuf menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan diri siswa berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan ketaatan terhadap aturan sekolah. Sebagian siswa telah menerapkan disiplin diri, namun masih terdapat perilaku tidak disiplin seperti terlambat, tidur di kelas, dan tidak menyelesaikan tugas. Guru dan keluarga memegang peran strategis dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan melalui teguran, pembinaan, dan kerja sama. Sekolah diharapkan menetapkan aturan yang jelas, sanksi tegas, dan pembinaan berkelanjutan. Pendidikan karakter berbasis Islam diterapkan secara sistematis melalui pendekatan pengetahuan, pelaksanaan, dan pembiasaan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, dan religiusitas. Dukungan guru sebagai teladan dan lingkungan kondusif menjadi kunci keberhasilan program ini.
