Publishing Schedule

Journal of Islamic Psychology and Behavioral Sciences (JIPBS) is published four times a year, with regular issues scheduled for January, April, July, and October. All published manuscripts undergo the journal's editorial and peer-review processes and must be formally accepted for publication before proceeding to the production and publication stages.

JIPBS implements an Article in Press and Regular Issue publication model to provide timely access to accepted scholarly works while maintaining a clearly defined publication schedule.

Article in Press

Article in Press refers to an article that has successfully completed the peer-review and revision processes, received a formal acceptance decision from the Editor, and has been declared academically suitable for publication.

After acceptance and completion of the necessary editorial and production processes, an article may be published online as an Article in Press before the scheduled publication month of its assigned regular issue. This allows readers to access accepted articles without having to wait until the complete issue is officially released.

Articles published as Article in Press are not manuscripts under review or provisionally accepted manuscripts. They have already passed the journal's peer-review process and received final editorial acceptance.

Regular Issue

JIPBS publishes its regular issues according to the following schedule:

January | April | July | October

Articles previously made available as Article in Press will subsequently be assigned to the appropriate regular issue according to the journal's editorial and production schedule.

Once the scheduled issue is officially published, the article becomes part of the Regular Issue, with its complete bibliographic information, including volume, issue, publication year, and other relevant publication metadata.

Through this publication model, JIPBS aims to balance rapid dissemination of accepted research with a consistent and transparent quarterly publication schedule. The Article in Press system enables timely access to peer-reviewed and accepted research, while the Regular Issue system ensures that all articles are formally organized within the journal's established publication structure.

Accordingly, the official publication frequency of the Journal of Islamic Psychology and Behavioral Sciences remains four issues per year: January, April, July, and October.
